he Tamil Sangam is established to integrate Tamil community living in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The core objective is to “Preserve and Nurture the Tamil Language, Culture and Arts” in Gothenburg among the future generations. Thus born the “GOTHENBURG TAMIL SANGAM”, as a Non-Profit Organisation with no Religious or Political alignment.

Vision:

* Enable individual contribution towards training Children in language, music, musical instruments, lecture on epics etc.

* Organize activities and competitions in the field of literature (iyal), music (isai) and drama (nadagam), to encourage and groom local talents, including Sports and Recreations.

* Facilitation of Tamil events like Pongal, Tamil New Year, etc.

* To encourage the study of Tamil language through various collections of books, journals and magazines in our Tamil Sangam Web portal.

On behalf of Tamil Sangam, this is an invitation to all Tamil families to join (membership) and contribute to the growth of Tamil Sangam in Gothenburg.

Together, we can blossom Gothenburg Tamil Sangam – THE GREAT !!!
